A couple months back, Huf was hosting an event at the Berrics. Huf is a skateboarding brand that was started by Keith Hufnagel in San Francisco back in 2002. They are manufacturers of premium apparel, footwear and skateboarding goods. When one of Huf’s employees contacted us, they let us know that they were holding an after party with spitfire wheels at the Berrics after the agenda trade show ended that day. Huf wanted us to custom design two boxes that were skateable, and resembled two life size shoe boxes. We worked with Huf and came up with a design, dimensions and colors for the boxes. The boxes ended up being 8 feet long, 4 feet wide and 20 inches high, and it had coping on both sides. We painted one brown and the other one in Hufs signature green color, and delivered them to the Berrics for the big event. The boxes were a huge success, tons of kids were able to come to the Berrics and test them out. These boxes were such a hit that many kids wanted to purchase them from OC Ramps. Keep your eyes peeled, because this could be a potential new signature obstacle released to the public in the near future through our website. We were stoked to participate in this cool event with Huf and The Berrics and are glad it was such a great success.
